Our Community Responsibility

Our Community Responsibility

Becompany acknowledges its corporate role within a wider community of interests.

We recognise our responsibility to play some small part in improving the wellbeing of our staff and associates together with all those influenced by our decision making.

Furthermore as the building services and construction sector has a proportionately greater significant environmental and social impact, we understand the importance of us playing our part to help reduce our environmental impact as a business as well as the need to support our local communities who are influenced by and are participants in our professional practice.

We are delighted to support a number of local business and community inititiatives throughout the year, details of which follow.

Sunflowers is a cancer support charity based in Aigburth, Liverpool. They provide a unique, completely free support service to anyone who has been diagnosed with cancer, as well as families and loved ones. Support is tailored to the needs of each individual who comes in, and includes advice and guidance services, counselling, alternative therapies and group support sessions in a welcoming and safe environment. Sunflowers also acts as a hub through which people can make friends and undertake leisure activities – ranging from choral groups and art classes to dragon boat racing!

Becompany Managing Director Tony Erskine, who has worked with the charity over the last three years is one of Sunflowers Committee Directors
